- Is Georgia receiver A.J. Green's appeal going to be heard in time and will he be cleared – I happen to think that a four game suspension in this case is bogus. Two (equal to what Marcel Darius at Alabama got) would have been fair. That siad you never know what the NCAA is going to do. My prediction: the NCAA hears the Green appeal on Friday as scheduled, but doesn't make a decision until after the game keeping him out of this Saturday's game against Arkansas. I believe that no matter what happens, he will be back next Saturday against Mississippi St. as I think the appeal will get the suspension reduced.
- Notre Dame quarterback Dayne Crist played with blurred vision – My first thought before reading the story is how on Earth do you let him go back into the game in the second half. The continued research about concussions that shows some of the inherent dangers has to get through to these doctors. Crist was lucky he only had a migraine causing the issue, but any symptom like that should be an automatic end to that day whether it be in practice or in a game
- “Time to die” - Whether it was a joke or referring to something else, Chris Rainey is a twit. When in the public eye at all, sending texts like that to your on again/off again girlfriend are at best not smart and at worst absolutely positively stupefying. Getting arrested for aggravated stalking on top of that is just the cherry on top. Hopefully you are enjoying school Mr. Rainey because even if you get off the hook here, you might have just ruined any chance of a pro career.
