Game of the Week – Nebraska (-7.5) vs Missouri, ABC/ESPN 1230 PM PT
Missouri is a very good team, but so is Nebraska and they seemed to find something on offense last week. While Missouri has a very good chance of winning this game, I just don't see it happening. The Nebraska defense will carry the day here after an awful game in last week's win.
Nebraska 24, Missouri 21
Iowa (-6.5) vs Michigan St., ABC/ESPN 1230 PM PT
Michigan St. continues to live a charmed life and they will put everything into this game because the path to an undefeated season is clear after this game. No Ohio St. and games against Minnesota and Purdue upcoming before the season ender against Penn St. make this a two game season and thats only if you have any respect for Penn St. With those stakes, the Spartans somehow get this done. Just don't ask me how.
Michigan St. 27, Iowa 21
USC vs Oregon (-7)
USC still has plenty of talent on offense and will make a game of this. The problem they face is similar to the one faced by Florida St. at Oklahoma earlier this season and Michigan against any team that is competent on both sides of the ball: the offense has to score every time they touch it. With pressure like that because of the lack of defensive talent, it's only a matter of time before the offense cracks and Oregon goes on one of its patented runs.

NC State vs Florida St. (-3.5), ESPN Thursday 430 PM PT
NC State showed it isn't ready for something like this test when it lost to East Carolina two weeks ago. Florida St. on the other hand has improved greatly since the debacle against Oklahoma and smoked Miami three week ago on the road to prove it. The pedigree plus Russell Wilson's recent interception binge spell doom for NC State.
Florida St. 30, NC State 20
Kansas St. vs Oklahoma St. (-5 at Bookmaker.com, off board at Stations and Bodog due to Blackmon arrest), FSN 9 AM PT
Oklahoma St. is on the road likely without its best player (receiver Justin Blackmon who was arrested for suspicion of DUI early Tuesday morning) and no defense against an offense that has been explosive the last two weeks. This won't be pretty for the Cowboys.
Kansas St. 44, Oklahoma St. 28
Texas (-7.5) vs Baylor, FSN 4 PM PT
Texas hasn't yet played two awful games in a row despite its limitations this season. As long as they keep Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin from going completely crazy, they should win this with the offense as Baylor plays no defense and can be stopped offensively (as TCU showed earlier in the season).
Texas 30, Baylor 24
Georgia (-2.5) vs Florida, game being played in Jacksonville, Fla, CBS, 1230 PM PT
Who would've thunk a few weeks ago that Georgia would be a favorite in this game. They are and this time I think they take some frustration out on Urban Meyer and Florida for many Georgia teams past. The Bulldogs are just playing better right now while the Gators are a mess. Georgia hangs a number if they get the chance.
Georgia 42, Florida 17
Penn St. vs Michigan (-3), ESPN 5PM PT
Penn St. should win this game. The question is if their offense can move the ball at all. They haven't really all season, even against bad defensive teams. That said, I still like them at home against defenseless Michigan unless Denard goes crazy again.
Penn St. 27, Michigan 24
Air Force vs Utah (-7), CBS College Sports 430 PM PT
Utah's lack of competition so far is shown in the line for this game only being seven points. The Utes are significantly better than the Falcons and it will show here even if Air Force moves the ball some.
Utah 41, Air Force 20
Central Florida (-7) vs East Carolina, No major TV coverage, 1230 PM PT
The two best teams in Conference USA play for what might be the right to host the league championship game against whoever comes out of the West. East Carolina has major defensive issues while Central Florida has major offensive issues, much like last week's Auburn-Central Florida game. That said, I am going with the who beat who principle here. East Carolina beat NC State and Central Florida lost to them.
East Carolina 31, Central Florida 27
