A guide for what to watch in each time slot, in order of importance.
9 AM Pacific Morning Window
Georgia at South Carolina (ESPN2)
South Florida at Florida (SEC Network/ESPN Gameplan)
Georgia Tech at Kansas (FSN)
Duke at Wake Forest (Raycom/ESPN Gameplan)
San Jose St. at Wisconsin (ESPN)
Hawaii at Army (CBS College Sports)
Michigan St. vs Florida Atlantic (ESPNU)
Needless to say, with this set of games, everyone should have it tuned to the SEC. Those who have access to the South Florida/Florida game enjoy switching back and forth. For the rest of us its Georgia/South Carolina all the way with maybe a check up on the option game with Georgia Tech. The rest of this is blowout city or ACC weaklingdom.
12:30 PM Pacific Afternoon Window
Miami at Ohio St. (ESPN)
Florida St. at Oklahoma (ABC/ESPN2)
Michigan at Notre Dame (NBC)
BYU at Air Force (Versus)
Iowa St. at Iowa (ESPN2/ABC)
Colorado at Cal (FSN)
Kent St. at Boston College (ESPNU)
Take your pick of the marquee match ups If you have multiple tvs, this would be the time to get them out. The top three games listed here are all worth the time to watch while the BYU/Air Force game might be worth a look, especially at the end as it starts 30 minutes after all the other games.
4PM Pacific Primetime Window
Penn St. at Alabama (ESPN), College Gameday from this gamesite
Oregon at Tennessee (ESPN2)
LSU at Vanderbilt (ESPNU)
Wyoming at Texas (FSN)
NC State at Central Florida (CBS College Sports)
With the top four games in this window having serious blowout potential, this would be a good week to go out on Saturday night before the season really gets going. If that isn't an option and you are watching games, good luck (and if you are really lucky, you will be in a region where the Washington/Syracuse game being played at this time is on).
7PM Pacific Night Window
Stanford at UCLA
Virginia at USC
Colorado St. at Nevada
This is the window for degenerates and east coast insomniacs, but with both Los Angeles schools playing, there are some interesting match ups here for those with the endurance to reach this point.
